Company Eligibility & Introduction
To participate in the PM Internship Program, your organization must:
- Be registered with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) as an IT or IT-enabled Services (ITES) company.
- Have valid credentials and an active profile in PSEB’s system.
- Be committed to mentoring and developing interns through real-world learning experiences.
Already Registered?
If your company was previously registered with PSEB’s earlier internship programs, a login and password has already been sent to your registered email address. Please check your inbox (and spam folder, if needed) to access the portal.
Hiring Process
- Shortlist the candidates from available pool of candidates
- Schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates via the portal.
- Communicate:
- Fixed date and time
- Format (in-person or virtual)
- Internship scope and expectations
- If the candidate accepts the offer:
- Submit your hiring decision to PSEB for approval.
- Once approved, the intern’s status will be updated to “Joined”.
- If the intern leaves early:
- Update their status as “Cancelled” immediately. Such interns become ineligible for re-hiring under this program.
Internship Monitoring
Internship tenure is 6 months from the date of joining.
- Companies must:
- Assign a supervisor/mentor.
- Provide interns with tasks, learning goals, and support.
- Ensure a professional and growth-oriented environment.
- You are required to:
- Upload Monthly Attendance Reports via the portal.
- Submit a Three-Monthly Progress Report reflecting performance and engagement.
- Note: Timely submissions of three-monthly progress report is mandatory for stipend release and program compliance.
Completion Formalities
At the end of the 6-month internship:
- Issue a Completion Certificate stating:
- Intern’s name, duration, department, and performance summary.
- The certificate must be:
- Signed by your company representative
- Countersigned by PSEB
- Upload the certificate to the portal as part of final documentation.
- This confirms the intern’s successful completion and closes their record in the system.
Supportive & Collaborative:
- Provide meaningful work aligned with the intern’s academic and career goals.
- Encourage regular feedback sessions and performance reviews.
- Consider offering full-time roles to high-performing interns.
- Help build a stronger IT workforce by actively mentoring and supporting interns.
